Falsely accused of a crime they did not commit, these talented filmmakers are on the run from Hollywood’s finest private investigators. If you have a film you need made, if no one else can help, and if you can find them….maybe you can hire the TortoiseButler crew.
Since beginning his composition career at fifteen, Jon has amassed many years’ experience in the field. Having composed for film, as well as television and theatre, Jon has worked with contacts all over the world including graduates of the NFTS; various independent production companies; and the BBC, to name a few. Jon’s work with film encompasses factual TV programmes and documentaries, to science fiction projects, fantasy, and dark comedy. He has also worked with the BBC Research and Development department composing for films showcasing technological advances within the broadcasting industry. Writing with a natural flair and an avid focus, Jon’s working style adapts to suit the requirements of each project. Able to successfully create across a wide spectrum of genres, his portfolio includes dramatic orchestral works, delicate singular instrumentals, choral arrangements, and modern music, including pop and heavy rock. A common factor throughout is his talent for story building within his music: subtle layering of emotive sound results in compositions a listener can actively participate in. Jon’s current projects include a dark comedy short film, collaborations with prominent lyricists in the UK and Canada, and recently, performing with the HMS Choir at a ceremony honouring survivors of the Holocaust at The Woodville Church in Cardiff. In addition, Jon is co-operating with James Dean-Bradfield of the Manic Street Preachers to build a commemorative album in aid of the Newbridge Memorial Hall restoration project. The culmination of this being the Newbridge Memorial Hall Opening Ceremony, with Jon as one of the musical directors, along with a planned release of the album on iTunes.
